Board of Commissioners
The Board of Commissioners is the legally and financially responsible governing body of a PHA and the first line of accountability for the PHA's performance. The Housing Authority is governed by a six member Board of Commissioners ("the Board") that is responsible for policy, fiscal management and the appointment of the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer. Five Commissioners, appointed by the Mayor, serve four year terms. One Commissioner, who is a resident of the Authorities Housing Project, serves a two year term. There is no limit on the number of terms a Commissioner may serve.
Regular meetings by the Board of Commissioners regarding the Housing Authority of Dry Ridge shall be held bi-monthly, occurring in the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November at 8:00 A.M. These meetings will take place on the 2nd Monday of said months unless the Chair and one other member of the Commission deem it unnecessary for lack of business.
Mayor Greg Brockman

Greg Brockman joined the HA board in January 2019. For 38 years, he's owned and operated Dry Ridge Auto Parts in downtown Dry Ridge. He is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce and a member of St. Williams Church.

Chairperson Marianne Smith​
​
Marianne Smith joined the Board of Commissioners in 2015. She works as a school resource officer at Dry Ridge Elementary and is passionate about children, their success, and their impact on the future. She continues to work closely with the families in the community and currently serves as the Board Chairperson.
Commissioner Darlene Johnson​
​
Darlene Johnson moved into the Housing Authority in 1990. She raised two children in public housing who both went to college and became successful adults. Darlene understands the challenges that come with living and raising children in public housing and believes in strengthen the community. She continues to give back to the Housing Authority where she still resides and has volunteered her time to the board since 2016.
Commissioner Dustin Smith
Dustin is our newest board member and is excited to be a part of the team. When he's not coaching on the soccer field, Dustin is involved in the local schools and at Williamstown Methodist Church. He is passionionate about serving and empowering our community and making a positive impact.
Commissioner Gary Caston​

Gary is one of our newest members and is very excited to assist with our progress. Gary and his wife Lisa have been married for 29 years. They originate from Orange County, California. Lisa became the parent of Gary’s then 8 yr. old son who is now in his late 30’s and they have two grandchildren. He followed in his older brothers footsteps as a painting contractor for over 30 years. In 2003 they moved to Colorado living in the Rocky Mts and started doing property investments. After caring for their elderly parents, Gary and his wife Lisa moved here to Kentucky to work for Answers in Genesis at the Ark Encounter. Gary is an elder at Lighthouse on the Rock church presently training to become a certified Biblical counselor and both he and Lisa are looking forward to serving the community of Grant County.
